    Great video man. And that whiskey sour looks amazing! About the egg white thing - the problem is that safety is not the only issue. Some people just don’t like the idea of a raw egg in their drink. Why not just provide an alternative for those who dont want it? Aquafaba is pretty decent replacement and we avoid any needless conflict 🤷🏻‍♂️ Anyway just a friendly suggestion. Not a critic. Great job on the channel👍🏻👍🏻

    Clover Clubs are also fantastic without any egg or aquafaba. You just lose the head, but the flavor is exactly the same.

    1:42 honestly citric acid and the alcohol in whiskey both kill salmonella. freshness of the eggs doesn't matter. as eggs fresh out of the chicken can carry salmonella.

    “I get some of the burn from the cedar from the actual barrels…” Bourbon is aged in oak, not cedar.

    • @GoodTimes4All
      @GoodTimes4All Рік тому

      True...but in context I'm sure he meant that the char of the oak barrels were creating a sort of cedar smell - which is a common trait.

    Egg white ignorance is so annoying. If only people educated themselves on egg pasteurization. But enough on those folks, you have fabulous skill. Excellent shaking powers 😂 But that’s truly vital to this cocktail coming out scrumptious. When made correctly, the classic whiskey sour, slow gin fizz, and filthy dirty martini are my absolute favorite drinks. You did the sour proud here. 👍

    Never would have thought to shake with one big ice. When you think about the reason why you say to do that it does make sense. So I followed your way and made the frothiest best whiskey sour I've made thus far. I'll be using the one shake ice method from here on out lol. 👍
